YOGA FOR MIND, BODY and SPIRIT

Paul Desbois and Rachel Knee have been practising Yoga for many years and  offer private one-on-one tuition, and drop in classes at the Arborfield Garrison Community Centre near Wokingham, and at The Haven Wellbeing Hub in Wokingham in Berkshire.

"We both feel very passionate about Yoga.  We have both benefited hugely from our practice, and wish to share this experience with as many people as possible"

"Our intention is to ensure that all students, whatever their level of experience or ability will feel enabled and included.  Through clear verbal instruction, demonstration and adjustment, we wish to assist students in their personal journey with Yoga. We know that with regular practice  Yoga generates increased self-confidence and helps break through individual physical and mental limitations.  It is our aim that at the end our class students feel that they have been physically challenged and yet recharged, feeling mentally and emotionally nurtured."  (Paul and Rachel)

Our heart felt gratitude to our teachers, especially Ruth White (Karunayoga.com), Sam Rao, (Samraoyoga.com) who has been a mentor, guide and friend to us both.  Sam is an inspirational teacher and we always look forward to his class on Saturday mornings in Crowthorne, the only way to start the weekend.  We are also grateful to many other teachers, John Scott, David Sye (Yogabeats.com) who have been so generous and giving of their experience and knowledge.

"Yoga means Union, the union of the individual soul with the universal spirit, this is Yoga. But this is too abstract a notion to be easily understood, so for our level of understanding I say that Yoga is the union of body with the mind and the mind with the soul"
